A few years ago, I learned about HFOT and really loved this organization and the work they were doing by building specially adapted homes for severely injured vets. I wanted to get involved and started a little run for the troops project by logging my miles and donating monthly based on my total miles. By starting this fundraising page, I want to continue my own commitment to HFOT, as well as spread the word about the amazing work they do.
By building these specially adapted homes, HFOT ensures that these vets, who have given so much, have a safe and comfortable environment. Also, HFOT has a four star rating from Charity Navigator, so you can be assured that your donations will be used wisely.
So lets keep doing good for others as we run and as I prepare to take on 26.2 miles at the Bay State Marathon this fall!
Thanks so much for your support!
