Second Annual Wine, Nine, & Dine Golf Tournament for HFOT

Please join us for our Second Annual Wine, Nine, & Dine Golf Tournament for HFOT on Friday, October 16, 2020.

Check-in begins at noon, ladies golf clinic to begin at 12:25 p.m., and the first foursome tees off at 1:00 p.m. Our event will feature nine holes of golf, dinner provided by from Texas Road House, wine sampling, a live auction with a few fabulous items up for bid, and exciting raffle prizes.

Please check out our online auction page, where you will be able to pre-bid on our auction items until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16. The highest bids recorded at 3:00 p.m. will become the starting bids for our live auction, which will take place after all players have returned from the course:.

Players are also encouraged to pre-purchase their raffle tickets and “player bundles”* in advance by filling out the order form below.

All proceeds from this event go to Homes For Our Troops whose mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Due to Covid-19, please adhere to the following rules during our event:
* Under Mass Covid restrictions, golfers may remove face coverings where they can easily, continuously, and measurably maintain at least 6 feet of distance from players and other persons present. Use of driving range, putting green and other practice facilities must follow social distancing protocols and must require use of face coverings.
*Each player at our event will have the option to drive their own cart.
*With regards to our dinner, I am working with Texas Roadhouse to see if I can get prepared/ready to go dinners versus a buffet set up. But it’s difficult to keep prepared meals hot. Arrangements will be made so that players will avoid buffet lines, and serving utensils will not be shared. Extra chairs and tables will be made available around the deck area to afford players more space while they dine and chat. We will probably conduct the raffles and auction in this open area too. (Let’s hope we get nice weather!!)
* There will be multiple hand sanitizers at the clubhouse and I will have extra surgical masks on hand just in case anyone forgets to bring theirs.
*Please consider purchasing your player “bundles” and raffle tickets in advance as this helps players avoid waiting in line to purchase them, and reduces personal contact. Players who pre-order these items be able to easily pick up their items (bagged and labeled with last name) at registration.
