Our fraternity’s dedication to philanthropy service is at the core of how we define a Kappa man.
In 2014, undergraduate chapters of Kappa Delta Phi voted Homes for Our Troops as our National Philanthropy nationwide for years to come.
Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded nonprofit organization which builds specially adapted, mortgage-free homes across the country for injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan post-9/11.
In just the past 4 years, the national fraternity has donated over $73,000 to Homes for Our Troops; Alpha Gamma chapter alone has donated over $1,700 in just this past year, and we’re looking to raise that number in the coming year to become the top donator out of the active Kappa Delta Phi chapters.
This year, we are reaching out to our extensive network of Alumni, friends, and family to help support Alpha Gamma chapter’s commitment to Homes for Our Troops.
Thank you for supporting Homes for Our Troops and Alpha Gamma chapter. With your help, we will help to restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed defending ours, allowing them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
